These are my pet chinchillas, Leroy and Lucy, on whom the character "Igor" is based. They have silky fur, long ears and long, curly tails, and are best described as a cross between a bunny and a squirrel, with the stubbornness of a mule thrown in to boot. Chinchillas are excellent climbers, nocturnal, friendly and fairly bright. The noises they make range from cooing to whuffling to "barking."
